Phonography Around Eildon

This last week was another Social Snappers Excursion and we went to Eildon with a stop at Steavenson’s Falls in Marysville on the way.  While I was taking photos with my main camera I also wanted to play around with my phone, I just got a new one.  The day before we went I got the new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 which has a 16 mp camera.  We spent a bit of time at the falls taking photos with the phone.  When I remembered I would get the phone out to take some more images.  It was a lot of fun.

I think the cameras on the phones are getting really amazing.  I still can’t see them replacing DSLR’s, but I wouldn’t buy a compact camera now, I would just use my phone.  I am looking forward to trying it out a lot more.

I am going to put the photos I took with the phone in a gallery for you, but if you want to see more photos from the day with my other camera, then go to Weekend Wandering – Day Trip to Eildon. Till the next excursion, which I believe is tomorrow week, Sunday afternoon at Docklands.
