Social Snappers Around Heide and Banksia Park

Last Sunday was another photography excursion for the Social Snappers, this time we went to Heide and Banksia Park. The weather was perfect for it, and the places were busy with people enjoying the sun and the spring time.

We wandered around all over the place taking photos of the sculptures in the garden of Heide.  There are some incredible sculptures there.  Some are new and some have been there for as long as I can remember.  My children always liked visiting some of them.

It was good just wandering and taking photos where we could.  Once we had finished going around Heide and having some afternoon tea in the Cafe there. We then headed back into Banksia Park to look around there.  I used to go there with my children as well, but it has changed a lot since they were children.

There are more Social Snappers Photography Excursions come up and it isn’t too late if you would like to come along.  The Sunday excursions are list here. The next one is in the city walking along Collins Street to check out the amazing architecture along there.  Should be fantastic, I can’t wait.

If you would like to join us for the Thursday excursions, there is a list of them here.

Here is a gallery with some of the images I took.
